Welcome to the Sun Viking's Activities Program!

From tiny tots to retired grandparents there's something for everyone. Treasure Hunt, Vagabond Vikings (similar to musical chairs), & Beach Side Buddies are just a few of the activities to captivate the tiny tots. Scavenger Hunts, Marco Polo, and Breezeway Bowling keep the younger set involved and on the go.

The ever-popular Bingo has guests of all ages vying for prizes while relaxing on the pool deck. And then there are the poolside games that challenge your memory -- Trivia and Adverteasing.

Need some exercise? Enjoy the sand and surf as you take a leisurely stroll on the beach with your Activity Director, or...Build the sand castle of your dreams on this, the most famous beach in the world. For the more athletically inclined, Basketball, Beach Touch Football and Beach Soccer provide action-packed fun for the entire family.

You definitely won't want to miss our Ice Cream Socials - complimentary ice cream and toppings are provided for you to make your own "designer" sundae.

Then there are our special events. First on the docket is our January Guest Cookout - a potluck affair with Sun Viking providing the hot dogs and hamburgers. Easter brings a barbeque, courtesy of the Sun Viking Lodge, as well as an Easter Egg Hunt, Egg Toss, Water Balloon Toss and Hula Hoop Competition. Yet another scrumptious Sun Viking barbeque tops the agenda for the Fourth of July.

ADVERTEASING A game using generally well known advertising slogans that can be played on lounge chairs or in the breezeway. All Ages. BEACH BONANZA A series of beach events which include: limbo, tug-of-war, running races, sack relay races, sand creations, and volleyball. All ages. BEACH VOLLEYBALL A volleyball game played on the beach in front of the motel. Ages 13-Adult. FAMILY GAME DAY A collection of pool deck events for the entire family that include: hula-hoops, dive for pennies, water balloon toss, pool relay races, and basketball toss. All Ages. HORSESHOES A traditional game of horseshoes played on the beach. Ages 13-Adult.	TREASURE HUNT "Little pirates" search for buried treasure in the beach sand. Ages 1-6. TWISTER A breezeway game for children that leaves them "tied in knots". Ages 7-15. VAGABOND VIKINGS A musical game for the little "vikings" similar to musical chairs played in the breezeway. Ages 2-8. VIDEO GAME COMPETITION Children compete for the highest score on a selected video game chosen from one of the two game rooms. Ages 7-15. OUTBURST A team game promoting quick thinking and fast-talking based on categories given. Played either on the pool deck or breezeway. Ages 7-Adult.

LOUNGE POTATOES This event allows the majority of guests to choose from any of our "lounge chair" games such as: adverteasing, trivia, outburst, etc. Majority rules. All Ages. BEACHSIDE BUDDIES A variety of games for the little ones that include: dive for pennies, boats, bubbles, fishing in kiddie pool. Ages 1-6 BREEZEWAY BOWLING A bowling game for the children using plastic cups and a volleyball played in the breezeway. Ages 2-12 COLORING CONTEST Coloring contest for kids who are divided into different age groups. Kids to meet in the breezeway. Ages 2-12. KIDS CORNER This event is the activity director's choice based on the ages and interest of the children who come to play. It can be any child's game or activity we have available. Ages 2-12. SCAVENGER HUNT A search to find as many listed items as you can. Kids meet on the pool deck or in the breezeway. Ages 7-13. TRIVIA/TEAM TRIVIA The classic game of remembering and recalling bits of interesting memorabilia played on the pool deck. All Ages.	POOLSIDE BINGO Our most popular event played on the outside pool deck. All Ages. POOLSIDE POKEENO This is "Italian Bingo" played with boards consisting of various playing cards instead of traditional bingo numbers. This is played on the pool deck and is an off-season game only. Ages 10-Adult. SAND SCULPTING A contest to build the best sand creations on the beach. All Ages. SHUFFLEBOARD The traditional game played tournament style out on the pool deck. Ages 13- Adult. WHEEL OF FORTUNE A pool deck version of the TV game show. All Ages. WIN, LOSE, OR DRAW A team version of the popular TV game show All Ages.
