Dear Visitor,
On behalf of all of our employees, my wife Barbara, our children and myself, I would like to welcome you to the Sun Viking Lodge. For many years our family has welcomed visitors from all over the world to our beautiful beach and oceanfront resort.
In 1971 we bought 11 rundown rooms and cottages and as we began our career in hospitality, we soon learned the expectations of our guests. Since then, we have always strived to provide warm comfortable rooms, exceptional service and a cheerful attitude.
Significant changes have been made throughout the years. In 1978 we tore down the original buildings and replaced them with our two-story lodge. In 1986 we acquired the property to the south and constructed our 8-story building. Each time, we have always tried to add as many amenities as was possible to enhance the value and the comfort of our guests. Most recently, in 2001/02, all 91 rooms and our cottages were completely renovated.
"Family friendly" has made us a unique family resort, specializing in families and couples, catering to their specific needs. Rated excellent with both AAA 3-Diamond and Mobil 3-Star ratings and together with our outstanding reputation, you can be assured of our quality.
