"My parents first took my sister and I here when I was about 12. We have continued to go back through the years (25+) and now that we have kids, we take our own kids. And the parents spend the winter at this fine resort, lucky dogs! Great location, reasonably priced, great atmospher and very family friendly. I highly recommend the Sunviking! Oh, and very safe!"

"what can you say about an old, OLD friend? My family started coming here in the late 1940's when it was Logans. Then several years later, it became 2411 OceanFront Villas bought by Armand and Helen Nurdlinger of NYC. For many years, each June vacation, we stayed on this location. I was 9 yrs old, my sister was 6, I am now 69..........My parents stayed here for almost a year during our Dad's transition from the head of one shoe company to another with my younger brother (now age 53) went to Seabreeze High School....Over the last few years, we have stayed at SunViking twice and while it doesn't have the age of the two prior owners, it has moved into the 21st century with style and class........If I get to Daytona, this is my preference. Surely you are now getting as guests 3rd and 4th generation Americans......thanks for the experience........."

"I stayed for 11 days, 10 nights the end of August 2009. We got a great deal on our stay so we decided to extend it! It was nothing but amazing! I've been coming here for 20 years and the upkeep of this hotel is amazing! The staff is VERY friendly and helpful. The rooms have been nicely done and I love coming back - it has a lot of childhood memories!!! We'll be back next year!!!"

"We spent a lovely 16 days recently. We were there 30 years ago. Everything was just as lovely as it was 30 years ago. A few added ammenities now made our stay more lovely, like coffe klatch at 9:15 every day with blueberry and banana nut muffins. Wife enjoyed bingo at 11:00 every day. We would recommend this hotel for families with children and grandchildren. Their 60 ft water slide was a hit with everyone, even seniors went down it. Personnel were very friendly, helpful and had a great time chatting with them. Met many freindly people from Florida and all over the USA. We are planning a return visit next year and started a vacation fund, can't wait to return."
